The others that have written about their experiences with this company are telling the truth. One or two, even three or four people could have misunderstood but there are literally dozens of disgruntled distributors. Here is my story.

I purchased a 20 location distributorship in May from Designer Scents. My experience was uncannily similar to othere hopeful distributors.

I sent them a check and Erica Roberts calld and gave me the name and phone number of a locating service, Lucy Feree of Route Builders. Designer Scents brochure states, "There companies offer complete satisfaction and account guarantees".

Designer Scents also offers a money back guarantee (within specific parameters). So, I had written guarantees out the ying-yang making me feel very secure in my $14,000 investment. But here's what happened.

Lucy drug her feet until the Designer Scents guarantee was void and I never heard from her again. She did manage, however, to find time to cash my check.

Mitch Centraccio and Anthony Antonelli both insist that their company did not recommend Lucy. But the truth is, they did. Lucy is also endorsed in their brochure as having worked successfully with their distributors. But the reality is, Lucy has worked successfully for Designer Scents (or whatever name Mitch and Anthony are operating under), making sure money back guarantees are voided. Nice work if you can get it and don't have a conscious.

I have filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals Bureau of Consumer Prrotection. But it has come to my attention that my complaint would be better handled by the Rhode Island Attorney Generals Consumer Protection Unit. So, I sent copies of everything in my file to Rhode Island.

I should add that Anthony Antonelli responded to my complaint by letter to the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals representatvie. He said they will gladly still work with me in any way to try to help me succeed with my distributor program. I am enraged by the use of the word still. That implies that they worked with me before. Nothing is further from the truth. These people took my money and ran.

As of today, my name has been "added to the list" of distributors (and there are many) that have filed complaints. If you have been a victim of one of Anthony Antonelli's companies, I urge you to file a complaint.By doing this you can also have your name added to the list and be sent updates via e-mail on the progress the Rhode Island Attorney Generals office is making.

Oh, yes, one more thing. Dave in Bethlehem... Howdy, neighbor! I'm right down 378 in Coopersburg. So much for protected territories. You weren't given my name and phone number as a reference to contact, were you? I know I wasn't given yours.
