Mismatched serial numbers on hard drive

Bought new 320GB EIDE drive from Fry's eleceronics. Not exposed or delivered item! Mounted and examined negative. Examined and unearthed that the sequential number about the container didn't complement the sequential number about the device. Product number was the exact same. Not able to return component to Cookis to switch or get reimbursement. Needed to contact Western Digital three-time to make the journey to customer service. They might change push. But tired concerning the serial number problem. The next time I'll start the container to check on the se4rial numbres or obtain a distinct manufacturer.

Really poor customer support. Appears like they're not thinking about the customer simply the bigger companies.
