Received incmpatable part and they refuse to take as return

I bought a Tough drive online from Dell, the drive seemed about the site that looked for compatable HDD for my specific company label number. I obtained the HDD so when I tred to set up it-my pc wouldn't identify the HDD. On 6-1-08 I contacted an online tech who instructed me to reinstall and then run a test which was quite long. He explained he'd call-back the following day at 5 am but he didn't. On 6-11-08 I posted a return tequest from Dell and that I obtained a computerized verification. They claim they've no report of this. On 6-12-08 I reached 21 times. Today they'll not do an change since I am after dark 21 days and certainly will not recognize the return demand I submitted prior to the 21 times.
