Unmerchantable product

I bought a set of sneakers out of this site. The price of the sneakers was $100. After I obtained the sneakers, I got them from the container plus they smelled like color. I acquired them around three weeks before plus they still smell like color. They're totally unwearable. I sent the organization (juney. Service@hotmail.com — the very first time I noticed this current email address was after I visited deliver a contact requesting a refund) and requested to get a refund. They explained that it'd be too costly for me personally to deliver them back and wouldn't provide me a return. The organization recommended that I spend them 1/2 the buying price of the shoes $50) plus they might deliver me new sneakers.

I find this to become crazy. Why must I spend anymore compared to $100 I taken care of sneakers that I'm not able to use. (in addition they recommended that I spend $50 for that new compensated and market those they delivered me to another person (to get a revenue). Again, that is crazy. The sneakers are unmerchantable.) I don't have any pictures since the sneakers appear good, however the odor of color is really powerful, I can't actually remove them of the container.
