Rip off beware! These people need to learn what customer satisfaction is all about

I went to a place that I know and trust which was the NEX (Navy Exchange) They were going to charge me 685 dollars for P2 Subs (Rockford) and a (namebrand) 900watt amp. I figured, ok, that sounds a little expensive, let me shop around.

Well I spoke with a co-worker and he referred me to this local audio business near where he lives. I went up there on Thursday to look around and the guy that my co-worker introduced me to was nice, maybe too nice. I looked around and I didn't see anything I wanted then he did some displays and played some subwoofers. These guys dont charge tax but what they do and you dont know about is not presented "so ASK QUESTIONs".

My mistake was that I asked the question too late. I agreed on gettting a Lanzor 1000Watt amp with a couple P1 Subs and 1 vented 2X12" Box. He asked for a 100 dollar deposit. Little did I know that the deposit was non-refundable. I asked after he had already swiped my card. A 100 dollar non-refundable deposit? WTF?

These people need to learn what customer satisfaction is all about. I knew that he was using corny lines and felt that it was too late to get my 100 dollars back. So I didn't even show up on the Saturday I was supposed to come in because I was not a happy customer after I found out that the 100 dollars was non-refundable. Also to note, my co-worker paid 1,000 dollars for Two 10 inch P2 Rockfords and a 1,000 watt amp and installation service. The one's at the NEX were two 12 inch rockfords w/900watt amp for only 685.00 after taxes. So I'd be better off with a store I know and trust than some local audio shop. That's all i got to say.
