Ripoff Gas re-fueling fraud

Recently I rented trucks from this company few times for moving purposes. Everytime after the move when you re-fuel the truck and leave it at their location, they will always claim that you didn't fill enough gas and take your money. They always look for customers who look dumb or won't make an issue. It doesn't matter how much you fill the truck when you return, they will always charge you addtional $13 or $15 claiming that you didn't fill up. WATCH OUT! It has happened to me three time in a row. The third time, I made it 100% sure that it was filled up all the way to the neck of the fuel tank (by even overriding the automatic click off at the gas station).

After you're charged, what can you do? I complained to the BBB (and only GOD knows how BBB allows such companies to be members of the Bureau) and believe me, many companies such as this don't really care about the BBB. Well what can the BBB do? Not much. You complain, and the company give you 1/4 of what they stole from you and you're supposed to be satified with it.By this, the BBB closes the complaint claiming it has a positive response from the company.

I would say, its best to avoid these crooks. Even if its a little high, its worth the price. I've rented trucks from these places before, and not once I had any such complaint. Next time, you go to this company, when you re-fuel make sure you get a video camera and a witness with you and fill it up to the top. Othewise, beleive me, the chances are that they will still charge you for 5 to 6 gallons of gas (minimum). As you cannot prove anything, you can't do much.

Also when you rent the truck make sure you not the fuel level and make sure you fill it well above it and video tape it.

These crooks make more money in selling gas like this, than renting the trucks itself. I got ripped of about $30 or so by them.

And "David Hengehold" is a Jerk. He responds with stupid e-mails and doesn't give a crap about customers. He has the mind of a 10-year old and probably a 100 years old and probably can't remember if his company is run by humans or apes.

Believe me, many people go through this with the company. But these crooks get away with it. Some of the customes (like me) really believe that maybe they didn't fill it up properly. But guess what. Only very few non-business customers rent trucks, and its usually a one time deal. So they don't see the repeat problems. And I guess they don't do these kind of stuff to business customers (that is just my guess) and they will find out the fraud soon.
Anyway, hope you don't get ripped off.
