GMC Cadillac
Bait & Switch, redesigned after market parts so more parts are needed to retrofit replacement parts

Cars & Transport

Our 2003 Cadillac CTS needs support arms for the trunk. We purchased them at a local automotive parts store. They didn't fit. We then placed an order from a GMC dealership where we purchased the CTS. They didn't match up either. They were about an half an inch too long. We asked about it. We were told that Cadillac GMC redesigned the after market parts so that now we needed, not only the $17 support arms, but we needed to buy the $80 hinges also. Why should we have to replace perfectly good trunk hinges? This is done buy educated idiots who are designing rip off schemes.
