On Saturday, September 18 McGuire's Devil Mountain Harley-Davidson Shop celebrated their Grand Opening from 10 A.M. To 4 P.M. Their flyers and invitations promoted a motorcycle contest to give away a brand new black Road King Classic. They had a slot machine and people tried to pull the winning combination of 777. At 3pm they packed up the slot machine and claimed that nobody had won!
Store declared nobody won the motorcycle!
They also advertised "other great prizes" which turned out to be cheap promotional giveaways like key rings, lanyards and Frisbees.
I became suspicious when I noticed there was no radio station there doing a live broadcast. Every other motorcycle store has a live radio presence when they pick a motorcycle contest winner. Devil Mountain never intended to give away a motorcycle. It was a disingenious publicity scam to get people to their new store to spend money.
