I have been a customer of PPL MOTOREHOMES for over twenty years. I bought my first trailer when they were still located on Rice DR. I have referred multiple people to them and have bought a total of two trailers and one RV. I also used them for the majority of my repairs and parts. I have always been a good customer. That is why the treatment I received when reselling my RV is such a shock. I could have sold it myself and made more money than I did going through them. At least 1/3 of the repairs they performed were to things that were broken when I bought it 10 yrs ago. They did overkill on several of the repairs by replacing boards on the water heater when only the thermostat was bad. Cleaning the furnace for 275 dollars. They charged 55 dollars for replacing a few screws and tightening down a small cover on the generator. Total cost of repairs 2939.85. Add to this the the sellers fee and they made as much money as I did on the sell of my RV. I didn't complain when they screwed up on the papers when I bought it and made the loan a 10 yr loan instead for an 8 yr loan, even after my Father pointed it out to them. They were supposed to correct it on the final papers. When we went through the check off list, the batteries were to weak to start the generator but they assured me that it ran the previous week. I had to replace all the batteries and fix the brakes, took it back to them to get the (generator fixed $300 dollars) Even after that I was still happy with them. I took it to them to sell because I was going to buy a camper later from them. I will never trade or do business with them again.
