Lied about check engine light

My husband bought a 2007 Ford Cargo Van, took it for a test drive and asked why the check engine light was on, Sales person told me that the they had the sensors fixed and one of them was in the wrong place. He is an expediter and 2 weeks of him being on the road the transmission went out.

He called the dealer and the sales person told him the he told him that the transmission was going out that is why the price went to $6,900.00. That was never told to my husband and why in gods name would anyone in their right mind would buy anything by a sales person saying that to him. I contacted the corporate office of Byers and they did give him back his down payment and voided the sale. They knew before my husband bought it what he was using it for and sold it to him anyway.

Now we bought another cargo van but in the mean time we have lost money for our business because of what Byers did.
