Outrageous charges for "scratches" - Budget Rent a Car Luton Airport

Never rent from Budget at Luton. They scammed us for over six hundred dollars for scratches that we never did. Our total mileage was only 100 miles. Obviously unscrupulous management sees this as a profit center. Never again. We companied but Budget did not question the outrageous judgment of its agent. Any scratches that were there were pre-existing. We rented the car at night. You have to have a video and a lawyer present if you want to protect yourself. Have rented cars at least 300 times and never had this experience. Never again for Budget.
