Horrible Response

I excitedly awaited my LivingSocial Adventures Adventure-Whitewater Rafting Overnight with Yoga, Meals, and Transportation in the Poconos.

Unfortunately, Friday night at 11p the forecast called for an 80% chance of rain every hour for the next 72h, and I called off the trip. Displeased would be an understatement. What compounds the disappointment is that unlike working directly through a vender, there is no way to seek a refund or credit towards future trips.

I wrote to Living Social who responded with "We only cancel adventures in extreme cases, however, as stated in the deal, we like to have a good time—rain or shine. Hopefully, you stick around with us. There will be tons of awesome new deals soon!"

Yeah, I am done with this site!!
