Capital One Auto Finance
Inaccurate credit reporting!

It all started in January! My car that was financed through Capital One Auto was totaled in an auto accident. Long story short, after multiple attempts to make sure insurance and Capital One were communicating about the pay off, (which I was told was going very smoothly!) I got smacked with several 90 day late payments on my credit report!

After contacting the BBB, Capital One felt they should probably contact me back. They did and 4 years plus latter I have kept in constant contact with them and have no outstanding debts to them (paid them out of pocket the remaining amount owed in full to prevent any further derogatory remarks on my credit) NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED! My credit score has taken a hit long enough and now after contacting the BBB a third time I am hoping that this all may be fixed ASAP!

No one there seems to know what they are talking about, are very rude, and try to push the blame onto someone else. They are now at the point to say that they can not help me and I need to contact the Capital One credit reporting department. I have obviously at this point contacted them several times! With what a surprise, no response! I just want people to be aware that they are crooks and will ruin the rest of your "credit based" life!

I can not tell you how many thousands of dollars they have cost me in interest rates when purchasing a new car, or getting personal loans! Now in the attempt to purchase a home I get laughed out of the bank until they see my documentations and while that might sway a automotive loan officer or amount for a small personal loan, it is a bit more harder to do when purchasing a large cost item such as a house!!
