Heartland will not let you come home no matter how long you stay out over the road. If a family member passes away they still won't let you come home unless they can find a load coming to where you live. Their frieght is the most imporant thing. They get to go home to their families and don't care about their drivers. When my mom passed away they wouldn't let me come home until they found a load coming to where i lived. They never found a load so another family member had to drive to get me three states away!
