Visited JS Autohaus Mt. Holly location to view a 2008 Lexus. Vehicle was very nice/clean. One week later I visited the Ewing location to view another Lexus to compare which one I like better. I ultimately chose the Lexus in Mt Holly. I was informed previously that vehicles can be moved from all 5 of their locations upon request. I made a cash offer on the vehicle but the salesman refused.

I returned to the Ewing location on May 10 to make another offer to include a trade. The saleman offered only 500 for my car, I refused, and he directed me to their other location 1 block down the street. I went there another salesman offered 1300.00 for my vehicle, I agreed. I then confirmed the total price of 19,500 cash plus my trade for the vehicle. Both Lexus' were priced at 21,999. My salesman Henry, confirmed I would bring a check for that amount the next morning and he would send for the Lexus at the Mt. Holly location early in the morning.

The morning of May 11, I received a call from Henry stating the Lexus at the Mt. Holly location was no longer available; therefore, I could only get the one at the Ewing location. I didn't understand how that was possible if I agreed to purchase it, but I agreed to it. I obtained a Cashiers Check made out to JS and returned to the lot. I met with Henry gave him my check for 19,5000, the title for my trade, insurance, and license.

I sat with him for 15 minutes, he showed me the Car Fax, I signed it, and began to explain an extended warranty. He then directed me to speak with another gentleman in regards to the warranty further. Henry handed my information to the other gentleman to include my check, and he began to type up the sales agreement in the computer. For some reason the numbers did not add up and he told Henry the money he received from me was short. He stated the cash was supposed to be 20,800, which was actually the total price I was getting the car for to include my trade.

Henry stood there and turned to me to say "Yes you were supposed to bring me a check for 20,800 plus your trade". He totally lied and I couldn't believe it. I called him a liar several times and he hesitated the entire time saying I must have mistaken what he said. The Owner of JS intervened and I explained to him I would not have mistaken 20,800 for 19,500. The check was given to Henry 15 minutes prior and if the amount was incorrect he waould have stated that as soon as I handed it to him.

I also made the Owner aware of his call stating the car was inavailable and the owner told me that information was not true. The car had not been sold nor had someone put a deposit on it. Henry stood there the entire time saying nothin. I ended up not gettin either car, the owner would not accept my check stating he would not make money on the vehicle if he sold it to me for my price. I was furious wasting time and energy. Henry tried to pull something sneaky and underhanded. Do not buy nothin from them!!!
