Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing, Arcadia over 300 complaints on this website

Here is the email I sent Arcadia. It says it all.

Hi, my name is * * and my husband and I have a car loan through your company. There are several issues we are having at this time.

First and foremost, as most people in life usually have at some point, we are experiencing some financial difficulties at this time. I am very upset at this time and believe we have been mistreated and scammed by your company. On June 12, I made an arrangement with Louis and Mr. Hernandez from your collections department to extend my loan for the June payment. Upon receiving the extension agreement, my husband and I both signed it and mailed it back to Arcadia Financial.

On this phone call we also agreed that I would make a payment to go through my account the day I got paid which was June 30. On July 8, I noticed that the $461.22 had not been taken out of my account yet so being the honest person that I am, I called Arcadia to find out what the problem was.

I was told by the customer service department that the payment was entered into the system wrong by one of Arcadia's associates. The customer service operator then informed me that he would send the payment back through with the correct information. At that point I believed that everything was fine until Saturday, August 7.

On this day I received my statement. It shows that I have a current balance due of $898.29. This is an incorrect amount. On Sunday afternoon, I called Arcadia. The first lady that I talked to was very pleasant but for some reason she did not know what to do with my situation and she transferred me to another lady. I explained the problem to the her and she stated that the extension had been reversed. I asked her why and she said because of the payment that had been returned on June 30. I told her that the reason it was returned was because of Arcadia's mistake. After she became very rude and irate I asked her to let me speak with a manager. I asked for Louis and Mr. Hernandez and she would not transfer me. I ended up hanging up on her.

The point of this email is:

1. Your customer service department has no customer service skills.
2. I feel as though we have been scammed out of a payment.
3. We are constantly harassed at home and at work even when our payments are not even late. I think Louis has us on speed dial.
