Roy Newsome Enterprises
Tramp Trailers DONT BUY THERE, but if you do! Don't leave without your paperwork

Cars & Transport

On 03-31, I drove 500 miles from Plantation, FL to Savannah Georgia to purchase a 5x8 Enclosed Trailer from Roy Newsome Enterprises. When I arrived the owner Mr. Newsome was very happy to serve me and I paid for the Trailer in FULL $2,000 in cash and the rest on a credit card. Mr. Newsome informed me that he could not locate the title and paperwork for the trailer, but that the dealer tag was good for 30 days and that he would mail my paperwork on Monday. I honestly believed in his word, and I took the bill of sale and drove the trailer to Florida. It has been like pulling teeth, I never received the paperwork, after numerous phone calls and e-mail. Just excuses, wrong address, mail returned it, etc, etc. Next week it will be a month. I even spoke to the Georgia DMV, and I cannot even get a replacement title, because its a trailer. They told me its a civil matter. I'am a Law Enforcement officer and it is very hard for me to take the time off. I will have to hire an attorney, and suit this company civilly to get my paperwork. This is unfair sale practices, deceiving customer service, and just unfair.
