Sold Bumper to Bumper extended Warranty then only gave me basic coverage. Rip-off!

I purchased a used 1999 Chrysler Sebring from Gunther VW in Feb. Nice car and I always wanted a convertible. I was told by everyone that it had problems and to make sure I purchased a full extended warranty.

Well, I was told by salesman that the car came with a full bumper-to-bumper warranty that the previous owner purchased and then I purchased a new full warranty that took me to 100,000 miles. The Finance manager Rance, told me the new warranty would kick in after 60,000 when the old warranty expired. I have 2 other witnesses to him saying this.

Well a month ago (June) I had my first problems and I brought the car in for repairs. Yes problems already. The air conditioner had a major problem, the rear defroster didn't work, the passenger window has problems going up and down and a couple minor items. I brought it into the Chrysler dealer for the repairs I thought were covered.

Seems that there is no "original" warranty, Gunther never transferred papers like they said. And now claim they know nothing about extended warranty. Plus my full warranty is just a basic warranty and does not cover 3/4 of the problems the car has. I need help. Gunther does not answer calls.

I have been calling the salesman Rance for a month with him not answering his phone, and when he does he says he will look into it. His bosses say they do not know what is up, Rance needs to handle this. I am at a loss, and in South Florida in the summer without air-conditioning!

Beware of this car dealer. They have been reported in the news for not taking a ladies name off the trade-in and it almost cost her $5,000. They are shady. Beware.
