Lied and mis presented the terms of the agreement would be an understatement

I arranged a rental vehicle using the agreement that I required a baby carseat. Just before scheduling, I repeatedly mentioned I'd with an infant carseat. Due to their "no-reimbursement, no termination" plan, I informed the broker many times I'd to truly have a child car seat. She stated, "not a problem — whenever weare done with this specific reservation, simply contact Alamo to arrange the vehicle seat." She offered me Alamois telephone number, and continued to express, "We need all our vehicle rental companies to possess toddler chairs and GPS". SHe guaranteed me I really could contact the vehicle rental company and arrange the toddler carseat. After I finished the scheduling, I instantly named Alamo and was informed they I really could NOT put in a child car seat towards the reservation since "the reservation goes to Hotwire". I discussed that I'd to possess one for my 10-month-old grandchild, and Alamo ostensibly stated "difficult". I subsequently named Hotwire back again to stop the reservation, since I'd been LIED to, plus they essentially stated "difficult."

I'm processing stories with BBB and California Attorney General Office challenging a reimbursement of my $357 carrental.
