I should have known... I don't have ideal credit so in a hurry I found a vehicle I liked that was at a "buy here pay here" sort of business.

I paid $1000.00 down on a 99 Dodge Durango that was "leased" through the company for 2 years, in which time I would be making payments and at the end of the "lease" I would own the vehicle. I made arrangements to make payments to them every two weeks instead of weekly or monthly. Every two weeks I go in to the business pay cash and receive a receipt... Always holding a cordial conversation with the accountant. My last payment was made on 12/30.

On 1/9 I came home to find my vehicle missing... I called the Sheriff's Office to report the truck stolen only to find out that my truck had been repo'd. The following day I went to Park's, the dealership, to find out what was going on. I was told that I had not been making full payments on the vehicle for the entire year I was paying on it.
