This mechanic did unauthorised repairs and held my car hostage for payment

This mechanic is a habitual thief. I took my Passat there 5 or 6 years ago and was told I needed a new engine for $8000. I had the car towed to the dealer where they fixed it for $1500 and I have driven an additional 170,000 miles and counting on the engine they claimed needed to be replaced.

Against my better judgement I took my daughters car to them for an oil change and inspection and they did over $300 worth of unnecessary work without proper authorization. They then locked my car up when I refused to pay leaving my daughter without transportion to school. They are truely evil people.
