Rip-off I can not get a payoff amount from anybody - all I get is the run around SAN DIEGO

In Nov. 2003 I called household automtive to inquired about a payoff. I was given a payoff amount and date to be in their office by Dec 12. Which was sent by express mail.

They recived this express mail alone with a cerfited cashier check from my bank made out to household for the said amout qouted in their office Dec 5 at 10:30 am sgined by their employee.

Weeks went by no title. SO I called household to inquire about my title. They respond we never recived your payment. Yet its showing at my bank the check already cashed.

Then in Jan I recived a letter from them date 12-5 the same date they recived my payoff amout stateing that i will inquire charges if pass due payment not recived in their office.

Granted they never gave a date these fees would occur or when the payment was due, but the letter I recived was posted 1-06 recived at mlps post office 1-16 i recived 1-24.

After I inquried about the letter they told me I was sent a statement in Fed 2004 telling me when my next payment was due. I called again talked to a supervisor explain what happen.

She then in return told me that the payoff amount quoted would be honured, which it wasn't and i can not get a payoff amout from anybody there all I get is the run around.

Like the supervisor wont be in until tuesday yet i calling on a thursday, callback on tuesday no supervisor. So i told them I wsa'nt making any payments until i get a payoff amout in writing

It is now March and I have yet to recived a payoff amout although they can call me on a daily basic and still inquring instrested and adding late fe
