Pioneer provided me several financial services since the beginning of my military career. I was a strongly committed customer to your company until recently. Just the other day I applied for a vehicle loan through your company and was approved for the requested amount. However, before the loan was finalized I needed to proceed to the nearest Pioneer office. This was the beginning of my harrowing ordeal.

As soon as I entered the Pioneer office located in Yadkin Road (representing Fort Bragg/Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina) I was rudely asked for my military identification card. I did not receive any formal greeting; Pioneer should at least provide some professional courtesy. I was then ushered to a customer relation's officer in whom I felt could have provided me better service. The officer was hard-pressed that I call my insurance company to inform them that I was going to buy a new vehicle. Understand that the officer did not disclose any loan information nor was I set to buy this vehicle until the loan information is disclosed.

Soon after, the officer relented, my insurance company did not need to be addressed, and my loan information was provided. However as the loan officer provided me with my loan information, she rushed through the information and failed to communicate appropriately; I believe this may be due to the lack of verbal and listening skills. There were too many instances in which I felt pressured to sign the loan contract. As a customer, I should feel that my time at your office should be valued and should not be hasty as if I was an incompetent soldier.

At the end however, I was offered an A.P.R. Of 18% for a $4,500 vehicle loan. I quickly informed the lady that the A.P.R. Was too high and only then that she informed me that she could take off the EXTRA $1,500 cash they added to the loan agreement, an extra cash incentive that I did not request. Maybe I had not realized it before when I committed my financial contracts to your company, but your organization is a total rip-off for having an A.P.R. That high. Pioneer acknowledges itself as a military friendly loan company, through the ordeal the other day I would have to say that that statement is false. To my surprise, I also applied for a vehicle loan through Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union for a higher loan amount and was readily approved. Through this military friendly institution, the A.P.R. On this loan through FBFCU is only 2%.

I assure you as a soldier, I have fellow brothers and sisters that will listen to my complaints and will take heed to what I say. I assure you the information will be disseminated through Company level all the way up to Corps level.

Furthermore, I recommend that the service Pioneer provides should be reassessed and improved. Soldiers like me are defending our country. Soldiers like me should receive dignified respect and professional courtesy while trying to obtain your services. Not only am I a soldier, I am also a customer. Granted I know of the SMAG and other retired military working for this company, and I was greed upon. Have you heard of the black list?
