Ripoff Service dept won't replace faulty part they installed

I wrecked my Vette late last year and had it taken to Bill Heard for repair. I got the car back in Feb and soon after the car would not start! I called my contact in the body shop and he sent a wrecker out within the hour!

They found the 'throttle position sensor' defective and since GM doesn't list that $32 part separately, they replaced the $350 'throttle body ass' under warrantee.
Two months later I'm traveling on an Interstate loop and the TPS fails again! This failure causes the engine to shut down! I know the symptoms and the readouts from the computer and reset the computer and pump the throttle to put the computer into 'limp mode'!

Instead of getting on the cell and calling a tow truck, this is a Vette and normal trucks don't make it and the wait for a tiltbed can be costly, I used side roads to baby it home at 35-40 MPH!

I called on that Fri and got an appointment for Mon morning. I took the car in on Mon and the TPS went wacko and I pulled all the codes from the computer while he was signing me in!

I tell them to do an oil change while it is here, fix the sticking headlight and call me when the 'techs' have isolated the problem!

I get a call about two hours later for the service guy, that the oil change is done, the headlight motor was replaced, BUT, since my motor had been modified (I have headers and cam) they would NOT replace the defective throttle body THEY installed and were charging me $50 to read and clear the codes!

Forget about who paid for what! They installed a defective part! Now after it failed they want ME to pay for the replacement plus troubleshooting that I DID!

I'm on my way to the dealership now to talk to the service manager BEFORE, I get my lawyer involved!

This whole bit is because the new service manager is refusing replacement!

I have no problems with any other part of the dealership that I have dealt with personally!
