No-quality... Power windows!

Hello. People..

I have a 1990 ford mercury with 47,500 miles on it. This was my parents car which i have aquired. This vehicle is in excellent "mint condition, " and could be sold for new.

However, the power windows on the drivers side both stopped working at the same time. The motors are working, but the mechanical linkage does not. The only way to get the windows up or down is with manual assistance... Pulling or pushing on the glass with the window button button depressed.

This pis-poor non-quality power window system should have been durbality tested before going into production!
