Failed to repair vehicle. They take money and run! Rip-off! Illinois

I made the mistake of taking my Mercury to Altimate Transmission & Auto in Arlington Heights to get an oil leak and a slipping gear fixed. They "claimed" to repair it, I paid a hundreds of dollars. It was still leaking, so I took it back... 5 more times to the tune of $1,000.00. Alex claimed that when you fix one oil leak, it puts pressure on other smaller leaks & they become larger. Well, so did his fee.

At the same time, he was supposedly repairing the transmission, which was slipping out of gear at 35 mph. He could not have even test drove it, or he would have known they did something wrong. They lost the dipstick, left it completely uncovered, and first gear was COMPLETELY GONE!!! Disappeared during his repair job! Do not make the mistake i made! If you are in the NW Suburban Chicago Area, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO ALTIMATE TRANS & AUTO. It will be a very costly mistake.
