Just brakes
Raped by rip off artist

I am interested in the class action law suit against just brakes. My girlfriend took her car to the just brakes store #609 10320 n. Dale mabry tampa, fla. 33618. On feb 23 for a pulsating brake pedal. They told her she needed new pads rotors calipers needed reconditioning, and disk hardware and return springs. Total repairs for 439.62.

After paying for the repairs she still had the same problem and called the store and she was told to bring it back in for them to look at it they said that it just needed to be adjusted. She did this three times before calling dan gibson the district mgr. He had her bring it down to where he was and had it checked out and said the same thing that it just needed an adjustment.

They told her that the rotors could not be turned because they were at discard and could not be turned anymore. So they supposedly put on new rotors. Well after 5 months of trying to get this fixed and phone calls not being returned by mr. Gibson or the corporate office. She just stopped calling.

Yesterday we finally took the car to allied discount tires. And told them what was wrong they checked the brakes and said everything was fine except that the rotors where at or past discard. We told them that they were just replaced in feb, allied told us that the rotors do not wear that fast. It is their belief that the rotors where either not replaced at all (most likely) or that they put on warped rotors and tried to turn the warp out and thus bringing the rotors to an unsafe thickness.

When they should have put new rotors on from the get go. Just brakes did nothing to fix the problem. We called the store today and they refuse to reimburse for the cost of the repair at allied. For repairs that they said they did but didn't do. Second point is that they told her that the rotors were unsafe when she first brought the car in that's why they needed to be replaced. But they charged her for new ones and either didn't put them and left the unsafe ones on. Or instead of replace the bad rotors they put on they kept turning them to the point of being unsafe. Please help us
