I went to Firestone to replace my brakes. After the inspection they told me that all i needed was my front brakes pads replaced and the rotors looked fine. 3hrs later i received a callback and they mentioned that the rotors needed to be replaced. NOTE: When i brought my car in there were no grooves whatsoever on the front of the rotors. They informed me that the grooves were not on the front but in the back of the rotor. I asked to take a look at the back of the rotors for the grooves but the evidence was now gone because they tried resurfacing the rotors. They said that the rotors were worn down to thin. SHIESTY! They should have called before they did any work.

I find it hard to believe that the front of the rotors were perfect which they agreed and the back was damaged so bad that it needed to be replaced. I would think you would see some sign of damage in the front as well.
