I purchased a 2003 Volvo SUV from this dealership and while I was driving the car home the gauges began to die. They continually shorted out and dropped to zero for a second and then went back to normal. Also the air conditioner stopped working.

I called the salesman, Jamie, at Taylorsville Automart and told him of the issues. He told me he wasn't sure what the issue could be but they weren't willing to fix it. A day or two later there was a warning on the dash that said "low coolant stop car immediately". I opened the hood and saw that the coolant reservoir was empty. I put coolant in. A few days go by and I get the same message. The coolant is empty again. At this point it is clear that the car is loosing coolant at an extremely fast pace.

I called Jamie again and told him that the car has major issues and that we were not happy with it. I also asked him if they would be willing to buy it back. He said he'd talk to his owner and get back to me. I called him several more times and finally he said that they would not be willing to fix the car or buy it back for anything close to what I paid them for it. It became very clear that they knew the vehicle had issues when they sold it to me.

There is no way that they did not notice the need to fill the coolant several times or use the air conditioner while it was on their lot. I told Jamie that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB because I felt like they knowingly sold me a lemon. He yelled "Why don't you go ahead and do that!" and hung up on me.
