Bad Business Practices

I have purchased several vehicles from Car Vision thinking that things would change with the purchase of a second vehicle.

They lure you in with selection and prices. Aside from that there are questionable business practices that the BBB has investigated in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

My wife had purchased a newer VW that was pretty much loaded and offered at a good price. Despite my concerns and telling her to not rush into it, she loved the car and bought it the same day.

About a month after purchasing the car, she started having problems. She was not concerned as they sold her a "Bumper to Bumper" 100k warranty for a "discounted" price of $2500. The "warranty" is a TOTAL ripoff. The issue was miraculously not covered by her "Bumper to Bumper" warranty.

She took the car to VW who had a laundry list of things that were wrong with the car. So much for their 100 inspection on all vehicles. The Service Manager at VW said they get more cars with problems from people who bought from Car Vision that he was surprised they were still in business.

The car has had nothing but issues the first 2 years of ownership. Fortunately we have an honest mechanic and some of the repairs were covered by the VW warranty.

PLEASE read the negative reviews on this site and avoid Car Vision. They are not reputable. They do not stand by their product and they must have a special kickback relationship with Continental who gives the warranty.

IF YOU MUST buy a car there get it thoroughly inspected by your mechanic or pay a mechanic at the make of the vehicle before buying. I would be willing to guarantee that your so called 100 inspection vehicle from Car Vision will have undisclosed issues.

DO NOT but the warranty as it is a total ripoff. They sell you the car and in some cases (noted in another complaint), "Throw in" a bumper to bumper warranty for $2500 that you will be financing and is worthless.

Trust in others reviews that you will have issue with your vehicle from Car Vision.
