Not qualified to install battery

Went ahead of time auto-parts a few months before and bought there gold manufacturer battery around 75.00 dollars. I understood the man who searched up battery for me on the pc for design kind for my truck. After i bought battery i questioned him to set up it for me personally[my vehicle]. They do that for you personally whenever you purchase a battery from them. Anyways the man moves and begins getting quarry aged battery out and places in new one and hooks the brand new one backwards [neg to pos ][pos to neg]. My cables begin smoking from the battery. He changed them back properly but to late. Nothing worked in my own truck. End up needing to contact spouse in the future and obtain me. They delivered my vehicle to some worthless repair center the following day. Totally dismissed nearly every part of my truck. The store technician completed really sorry focus on it and attempted to provide back again to me with nothing focusing on the interior of my vehicle at all. Gauge bunch, stereo, cruise-control etc. I wound up needing to go my-self towards the dealership for repairs. They are spending money on all of the repairs[Progress auto-parts insurance]. Bottom point they want qualified individuals to use a battery. Common feeling 101. How hard could it be. Beware when they do this for you!!!
