Car should have been totaled Salt Lake City

In Sept I bought a 2003 Dodge Stratus from low book sales. A couple of days later we realized the car had transmission problems. I took the car back to the service dept and they said they couldn't find any problems with it. They let me get out of that car and into a 2002 Mitsu Galant.

That's when the real problems started. The car had a problem with the rear suspension. It was still under warranty so they told me to take it to the dealer. The dealer said it had been previously fixed incorrectly and they wouldn't fix it. Low book service ended up fixing it for me after I told them what the dealer had said. I was without the car for several days.

In December as I was getting into the passenger side of the car I noticed a huge crack in the roof. It was filled with Bondo!!! The steering colum would lock up when backing up sometimes. The dealer couldn't find out what was wrong with it. Upon further investigation my husband looked at the unibody frame and realized it was bent. The trunk leaks the rear doors don't shut properly, the back seat has a gap between the rear window.

Obviously the car had been in a serious accident. However nothing showed up on the car fax report. When I confronted Low Book they said they would fix what was wrong with the car. They replaced the steering colum and the roof that was about all.

I told them I either wanted to get out of the car or they should refund some of the purchase price. They wouldn't do either. They did tell me I could trade the car in, they would give me $8000 on trade in, I owe $13,000!!!

I have been very patient with them and have tried to be nice, but everytime I get into the car I want to drive it into thier building. I have missed work I have been in a Escort loaner car and nobody there gives a damn. I just want to be treated fairly, I'm sure they would expect to be treated better than they treat thier customers!

I have told everyone I know what a rip low book sales is. And will continue to do so, until the matter is resolved!!
