Sold me a broke down car and said there was nothing wrong with it

This dealer/owner lists his cars on craigslist as margate / ft. Lauderdale and the phone number is listed in the ad like this {954}~ 6 9 6 ~ 6 2 4 7.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take this warning to heart. I have 3 children under 6. One is only 8 months old and now I am out $2000 and having to take the bus again with my children in this summer heat.

This is a warning to everyone on here looking for cars to buy. I bought one from KD's Auto Sales in Margate and was told there was NOTHING wrong with this car. I bought the car and drove it home. The next day when I started the car it started and shut off. I started it again and it ideled and shut off again. I had the car checked out by THREE ASE mechanics and was told the waterpump is bad, the idler is bad and the whole fuse/relay power distribution center is bad.

I emailed the car delearship and never got a response, so I had one of the mechanics call and talk to the "owner". His girlfriend Jen got on the phone instead of the owner and told the mechanic that she drove the car and there was nothing wrong with it. They had it for a week or two is what she told him. When the mechanic informed her that he (as well as another mechanic I had here) were both ASE certified and there are numerous problems with the car she said well it was sold as is and she hung up.

This is NO way an HONEST way to run a dealership!!!

I just want to clarify that I do understand that as is means as is. BUT my problem lies in the fact that THREE people at this dealership told me there was NOTHING wrong with this car and yet there are NUMEROUS things wrong with this car. I am trying to warn you all so you do not go through what I went through with this car.
