Steve's Southside Citgo Shoddy Service And Scamming With Overpriced Repai

I had a customer who had a fuel pump repaired by this company. He had it "fixed" by them once and the repair lasted for 3 weeks and then the car died again. Upon taking it back, they "fixed" it again and told him it was because of his stereo and that he shouldn't listen to it too loudly. The car then died again (third time) and this time he brought it to me.

The customer was charged, the first time, for an entire fuel pump assembly. They charged him $200 for the part and another $300 to put it in. The second repair cost him another $100.

Upon taking apart the car to find out why the fuel pump wasn't working, I was shocked to say the least. I will list the problems I found:

1. The connector for wires going to the fuel pump had been broken off and then wrapped around the posts on the assembly. The connector on the fuel pump was then filled with rtv to keep the wires in place.
