Installed car part improperly, caused the car to malfunction. Rip-off!

My boyfriend and I dropped off our 2003 Volkswagen GTi to pro-imports on Wednesday March 3 for an appointment the next day Thursday March 4. We bought a K04 turbo thru their company and have them install it. They quoted us with $1,100 for the turbo and the labor.in addition we wanted them to install a intake hose, they quoted us with $190.00 plus one hour labor. The total price we paid came up to $1,594.00.

We called them Thursday afternoon to let them know that we were on our way to pick up the vehicle. They told us that the car wouldn't be ready today. I got into an argument with the one of their employees regarding the fact that it wasn't ready. He claimed that they didn't promise us that it will be ready Thursday March 4. He also said that if we wanted we can pick up the car now, and get a towing truck to hall it out of the shop but, he said that they will not put the parts back in.

We picked up the car Friday March 5. We didnt trust their work so, we dicided to take the car to another mechanic. He told us that the turbo wasnt put on properly and there was a lot of leak. Now we paid another performance shop to fix the mess that they created.
