Jacked my Money

I went in and spoke with Hector about an engine that i needed he then said he had a 2005 Dodge engine that was in the yard in good condition for $1500 but also asked me for a deposit l left him $ 1000 deposit to hold it for next day. He then called me the next day and said the engine he was going to get had a crack in it. He then asked me if i would like to see another one he had. I said sure after i got to his yard i checked the other engine & found that it was not in good condition either he also said he wanted $400 more which brought the total price to $1900. I said engine is no good and that is not the one we agreed on, he then said you are not getting your money back do what ever you need to do. I am a 63 year old Diabetic senior and need help with problem, out of money and no help!
