Rip-off car deale

I bought a 2003 Kia Sedona, the van was overheating I took the car back 4 times within a month, for the same problem, and those 4 times he pretended to fix it, but It's not, the van keep on overheating. The owner kept lying to me about the car was fixed, I took the car to a mechanic and they told me that the engine and the transmition is not good, when the AC is runnig the engine start overheating and the transmition is kicking too.

The last time I took the car back, he told me he is going to replace the engine. But I called the warranty company to check if they report the engine problem and they told me, they don't. He just keep on sending the van to different mechanics with no result. He told me that I signed the contract with "sold as is" and he's just doing a favor. I'm sick and tired of the situation and i don't know what to do. I gave him $2,000 down and $278 a month for 12 month. I already paid my first payment and the car still broken. What you suggest I could do?
