Misrepresented condition of automobile

I had purchased a used car from this dealership that I was told by the salesman that the car had been inspected by the service department, which is an added value and they new what to look for and it needs nothing. The sales manager told me repeatedly that there were “no excuses” with this car! Upon viewing and test driving the car, I informed the sales manager about a tire wobble. The salesman told me the car had been sitting and needed to be driven.
The tire wobble did not go away, CD player did not work and there was a burning oil smell coming into the car. The service department re-inspected the car and stated the tires, valve cover gaskets and CD player needed to be replaced at a cost of approximately $2,700. The dealership management refused to make any repairs, stating that I had signed an “as-is” agreement and they would not honor the sales managers verbal claims to restore the car to its represented condition.
No verbal statements are honored by this dealership! Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware! Get all issues corrected before purchase because these suits will not stand behind their word, they hide behind the legal limits in the purchase agreement.
Don't let the appearance of an upscale dealership fool you, they have earned the stereotype of the sleazy used car sales people with me and certainly do not have upscale integrity!
