3/12 Update.

Discovered May B&M dealer switched motor scooters & the mechanic was not certified (more to the story). Check your state statute of limitations beyond the Lemon Law.

The vin tag is found under the seat only. These scooters should have 2 (possibly 3) vin tags which should be located elsewhere. Also, it is a possibility these scooters are illegal (gray market). Is that a primary reason why Tank Sports abruptly closed its doors?

Lesson learned. Always purchase from a B&M dealer (more leverage) and even if the dealer display overt inconvenience upon your request. Make them remove whatever is obstructing the view of the vin tag. If, the dealer is adamant nothing is wrong... Save yourself from future grief & leave.
