Friday, I took my vehicle to Heinrich's Auto Repair in Parsipp. I live in Westfield. I arrived around 9AM, and my vehicle was evaluated. I needed new brakes and some suspension work. So, they give me a loaner for the day. I drive back to Westfield, and just as I get to the gates of my neighborhood, I remember that the Service Advisor forgot to remind me to take my house key and garage door opener.
So I call the Service Advisor, Erwin, and tell him to have someone run my keys and garage door opener to Westfield, he gets real flippant with me and tells me it wasmy responsibility to remember to take my belongings out of my car. I don't know why this jackass was copping such an attitude. So I then tell him I'm getting a locksmith to open the door and he's going to pay. He then tells me go ahead and do what I want, and the rude jerk hangs up.
Well, it was 105 bucks to have the locksmith come out and open the door. Whats worse, is my wife came home 2 minutes after the locksmith left.
I returned to Heinrichs to pick up my vehicle and drop off the crappy loaner, and demanded reimbursement for the locksmith. I argued with the service advisor for a while and he was being an obstinate ass and refused to budge. Finally, the owner came out and said he'd subtract the 105 from bill if I promised to leave.
Stay away from Heinrichs. They are very irresponsible and not concerned about their customers.
