Conatant Renewal Notifications

I signed up for a 2-year subscription for the O Magazine on 9/29 at a special rate of $20.00. I paid for the subscription on 9/30/09 with check #2049. Since then I have received several notifications that my subscription for renewal at a 1-year rate of $19.97 is due with their code of "001 Renew your 1-year subscription now at $19.97". I just wonder how many subscribers are caught up in renewing their subscriptions every 6 months at $19.97. I have written two letters stating that I subscribed back in 2009 for a 2-year subscription. I don't think this practice is acceptable.
