False advertisement - worthless scratch off

Cars & Transport

I think a lot of people have the same complaint. Seems that these car dealerships are taking advantage of peoples' hopes with the new false advertising angel - sending out masses of mail, containing a scratch off game, with a key glued to the back. On the fake ad, it instructs u to scratch off all three slots. It gives u a number to match and tells u that u only need one to match to be 'the winner'. It then gives u the number 1-866-326-7920 to call and to give them ur confirmation number on ur 'winning ticket'. They instruct u to go to the dealership.

Turns out the only thing any of us win is a hard sales pitch.By sealespeople who act CLUELESS as to what u are talking about with ur 'winning ticket'. They even act bewildered if u dont jump on buying an overpriced vehicle from them. Now why in the world would someone who is promised either $25,000 or a car go down to the dealership just to BUY one?

That is another one of their angels-to make u feel like an idio, or like ur trying to get away with something by going down there and expecting to win something.

See, the thing is, though, there have been quite a few lawsuits recently that the people have WON regarding this blatant false advertising. We are spending our time and our money to drive to these car lots, only to be harrassed into buying something we've been told we have won. Bad economy or not, these dealerships have NO right to abuse the public this way. Do they care that a lot of people they mail this garbage out to actually believe this? That they are on the verge of losing their home, and they believe their prayers were answred? NO WAY! ALL that matters is that they fool as many people as possible into spending possibly their last dime to drive down to their rip off dealership, just to get the ol hard sell.

We have not won ANYTHING besides given a hard time by these people. KEEP YOUR JUNK MAIL FROM DEALERS LIKE THIS! Turns out u mmay just WIN, like many others who are standing up to this, and having these dealership pay up, like they are promising!
