The vehicle is old and may in fact need some work on transmission but the issue at hand is that I did not bring the vehicle to Mike for a transmission repair, but rather brought the vehicle in to fix the original and still reoccurring problem we described, which he has proven incapable of doing. Mike operated on the transmission based on an assumption that its condition was somehow contributing to the original symptoms when in fact any and all repairs have repeatedly proven unnecessary to
fix said problem.

It is Mikes professional - and perhaps moral - responsibility to properly diagnose the problem before he makes any decisions as to what work may need to be done and should have knowledge (as to he is the hiring manager) of whether or not he and his staff are capable of doing the repairs themselves. It is not my responsibility to be able to diagnose the problem as I am not an expert on motor vehicles. It is exactly that lack of expertise that inspired me to bring the problem to
Mike originally seeing as it is the purpose of an automotive repair shop to provide that insight and act accordingly.

On top of his inability to properly diagnose the problem, the amount of unnecessary work done to the vehicle, and the wildly unprofessional nature of the service I received in which I suffered far more than the original payment of $2450

On two of the four occasions that I picked up my vehicle from Mike it was returned to me in WORSE condition that it originally arrived in, the warranty on the Starter that I replaced based on Mikes recommendation is now void, I have a brand new dent in my rear passenger door, Mike suggested that the problem is in the Catalytic Converter or exhaust and then reneged on that suggestion, I have missed over 10 hours of work all of which were unpaid, and my fianc has missed a few hours of work herself, also unpaid.

Four weeks without a working or reliable vehicle and the hassle of finding alternative ways to get around at the expense of our friends and family
