Not a good experience - movers

We chose Best Movers CA because of all of the great reviews. The estimate that we were given was really low and we decided to book them for the move. My husband had to relocate out of state for work. Therefore, I stayed behind to finish selling our house.

I was the only one there when the movers came to pick up our stuff. The foreman of the job made me uncomfortable, some of his comments were inappropriate and very personal. When the job was done, the bill came out to more than double our estimate! The foreman claimed that we had "too much stuff." When the items were delivered to our new home (by a different moving team), my husband checked the cubic footage in the truck before it was unloaded. The original foreman had accounted for 500 more cubic feet than what was actually there.

I feel that I was taken advantage of by the foreman in the pickup team because I was alone, since my husband had already moved. The moving team that dropped our items off were really nice, the main problem was with a dishonest foreman.
