Lied about replacing battery left me stranded

Drove 3 hours to pick up car. Car was promised mint. Had many dents and was missing gear shifter. Car wouldnt start and was told it had a bad battery and was promised they were taking the car around back and replace the battery. I wanted to make sure it was replaced so i wouldnt break down. They swore they had put a brand new battery in it and i was safe. I stopped for gas. Car would not restart. Ended up spending over $100 on a battery and ended up missing work. Battery was checked as old and no good. When i contacted them they got very nasty with me and refused to discuss it. I later checked the bbb website and found they have long history of lies and rip offs. They pomised bbb to reimburse me for battery then once they closed case told me id never see it. These guys need to be shut down
