Price changing, forging my signature on estimate and not following Md regulationsand not following warranty guidelines

I went to Meineke for quoted alignment for 69.95 on 17th aug and did not get my auto back until 20 aug for over 500.00.

I left my auto at meineke, i returned at 1pm and was told the auto will not start. (note alignment was completed).

I told them the auto was under warranty, gave them a copy of contract and told them to contact them, THEY SAID IT WAS THE STARTER ON THE 17TH of aug.

RICH CONTACTED the warranty company on the 17th.

I called meineke, they said they had not received any reply fromwarranty. I CALLED WARRANTY COMPANY ON 18th, they stated they had sent info to meineke. I CALLED MEINKE - THEY STATED NO REPLY from warranty company. I became concerned.

I called meinke numerous times from 17th -19th. They claimed no response from warranty company.

On the 19th in the evening i called Meineke, they then told me the auto was ready and bill was over 500.00. I was shocked. I came in for a 70.00 alignment and 3 days I had a bill for 500.00.

I told them i would pay 70.00 for alignment and the 100.00 deductable if they followed guidelines for warranty company if they accepted it. No one had contacted me, they had claimed no contact from warranty company.

Review of the paper worked;

I noticed some one had forged my signature on an estimate. Maryland requires a written estimate on repairs over 100.00.

I wanted my parts returned.

No one had contacted me to inform me, they would not accept the warranty company payment.

They refused to deal with my issues, and would not give my my auto until i pay the bill. I paid, but told them i would get my money back.
