Failure to resolve issue of stolen vehicle in their possession for repai

I purchased a 2001 PT Cruiser at the Wichita Street location in Fort Worth, Texas. After I had the vehicle for two weeks, I called them to explain some major mechanical problems that I noticed. I was advised to bring to dealership. I brought the car back the following day.

At this point, I handed over the keys to my vehicle and assumed the vehicle would be taken care of. Once I explained things and turned over the keys I was under the impression that my car was in safe hands and free of negligence. For three consecutive days I called to get updates on my repairs. I left messages and no response whatsoever. Finally, after the holiday I got a hold of a lady in charge of the office and she stated that the mechanics had replaced the starter and that there were difficulties in finding part for the cam sensor. She mentioned that she would keep me updated regarding the vehicle's progress; I did not hear from her again until the following day.

I receive a phone call from this woman asking if I had made a spare key to the Cruiser and I questioned her. She states in reply that she thought I had picked up the car since it was not at her location. After I gave my response of "no" she then apologizes and drops the bombshell that my vehicle was stolen.

It has been three weeks since I dropped my car off and they have made no attempts to notify me in any way, shape or form. I paid $500 as a down payment and then I am expected to pay a monthly car payment? They have not made any obligation to meet customer satisfaction goals in order to correct this matter or to see if there is some way that I can become a satisfied car owner through this business. I am without a vehicle and it's creating a hardship for my household; Furthermore, not to sound redundant but it is very unprofessional that they refuse to refund my money, get me another vehicle for the same price or both.

However, they did not refuse to get me another vehicle but it has been ridiculously long and I am having issues getting to and from my job due to this whole fiasco. I want this to be resolved as I am tired of waiting and nothing is being done. It is as if I am being put on the back burner and forgotten.

A very disgruntled customer.
