The shop is currently rated F by the Better Business Bureau. Under the former owner (Mr. Bob Finster) the shop had a very good reputation. Jay Rossi, the new owner moved the shop from Murphysboro to Carbondale with one and only one goal - to get you hosed. He is after your last penny.

Here is how he operates: You bring in your car for a simple repair. They will not get it fixed the first time, so you bring it back next day. BIG MISTAKE! You should have never returned asking them to fix what they screwed up - you should have taken it elsewhere!

They are unable to fix it the second time either, but while at the shop your car will suddenly develop a serious problem that it never had before. They will proceed to fix it. Again, they will not get it right the first or second time. Then your car, while sitting there, will develop yet another brand new and very expensive problem. All this will cost you THOUSANDS of $ in unnecessary repairs, parts and labor, and you will be without car for weeks and months.

When you finally wise up and take the car to a reputable shop, you have to pay to fix what ACEs screwed up.

The owner is a crook.

The shop manager trained as a cook really, thats the truth.

More honest mechanics leave in a hurry.

The sooner this place folds up, the better.
