Purchased a rebuilt crate engine from advance. Spartin motor from tx single contractor for progress (built-in mexico). Anyway thrilled motor athletes recorded from day-one, transformed break-in gas at 300 kilometers, magnet on gas plug had a inch of steel particles on-end, went another 400 miles mind began leaking. Called progress warrenty they needed me to displace that which was incorrect myself, their resonce for lifter noise was to regulate notice on the 4.3 you tourqe to specification not alter like past, Spartin technology request easily readjusted them to claims a great deal due to their techs. I thought that I should'nt need to focus on a motor with significantly less than 800 miles onto it!!! I eliminated engine, they did deliver replacement. Checked tourqe of brains and lifters before adding 2 head products were free in addition to 1 lifter wasn't to tourqe. Got outcomes today from contractor they stated its my problem that engine had steel in athletes, in primary bearings poor enough they were scuffed and water leaks were from my components installed. I had flushed all oil-cooler lines before install. They state it had been the cooler that infected the generator (bullshit) The progress technology stated nearly every engine they warrenty is consequence of specialist not builder. I've likely redone/reconstructed more than 50 motors in my own time, Completed many pull motor, all-they keep in touch with you as your an idiot or retarded. So their 3-year unlimited milage warrenty dos'nt remain advantageous to much is only going to substitute/fix or reimbursement once your screwed. Will never move base in a Progress shop again, Buyer Beware
