They sell damaged cars!

Cars & Transport

I purchased a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee from these crooks in 2005. I asked Chris and his coworker, whose name I can't remember at this time but he was a overweight bald man, if the car had been in an accident and they said that it hasn't. I also ran a carfax report for the Jeep and it came out clean, but little did I know that it takes time for the accident report to finally show up on the carfax report.

Apparently they do a decent enough patch job on the car so that it takes a week or so after you buy it for it to fall apart. Luckily the Jeep was still under the manufacturer's warranty, so I was able to have some of the problems fixed. While I was having it looked at at the Jeep dealership they told me the Jeep had frame damage and it looked as if a big truck smashed into the front passenger side of the car (I found out later from the carfax report that it was a rental car and that it smashed into a utility pole).

Unfortunately I was moving to Philadelphia in about two months after finding out all these problems, so I attempted to contact Chris and his associates but never received any contact back from them. So I contacted Tampa Bay's local Fox network and the Better Business Bureau. After notifying Chris Gamble of this he quickly returned my call (surprise surprise), and offered to have it repaired free of charge. Looking back on it I feel I should've still filed the report even after having it repaired because I found out that the mechanic just welded parts together to make it work since I was leaving very soon for my new job in Philadelphia.

In a weird sense of luck I was in an accident in my second month in Philly (not my fault), and luckily the man hit my front driver side and put my front passenger side into a stone wall. This is how I found out the previous mechanic did a half assed job of fixing the Jeep before I left because the repair shop informed me of the mess under the engine. So most of the half assed repair job was fixed after the accident.

You can do a google search and find all negative reviews for these scam artists. I hope that others see this and don't make the same mistake I did. I admit I was a naive college grad who was excited to buy his first car, and thought a Carfax report was good enough to go on. I hope these crooks get whats coming to them.
